Hulisani Ravele Tests Positive For COVID-19. The new Omicron COVID variant is spreading all over Mzansi like wild fire and a lot of celebs have been testing positive lately. Even though the vaccine is still being distributed, that has not stopped the mutation of the virus into a more deadlier variant than the last and the celebrities seem to be getting affected the most.
The virus is said to have mutated and taken a new form that is far more dangerous than any other previous variants and has been officially given the name Omicron. Following reports of the virus detection in Mzansi, multiple countries around the world have banned travel to and from countries in Southern Africa to properly monitor the new COVID variant.
947 radio presenter Hulisani Ravele recently revealed that she has tested positive for COVID-19 after having flue like symptoms a week earlier. The 947 radio host shared she is doing well and recovering at home by isolating and adhering to the necessary protocols. Ravele revealed her COVID test came back negative the first time after having relatable symptoms and now the test has come back positive which came as a bit of a shock.
Ravele sounds like she is in good spirits though because she has luckily received her vaccine jab and she is positive that the jab will deliver on all its expectation. Th TV personality shared how grateful she is for the vaccine, thinking of the horrible state she would be in without it.
“Just tested positive for Covid-19. I feel fine & I’m isolating at home. Last week I had cold like symptoms, immediately did a test & it was negative. Today it’s positive. One thing I know for sure? The vaccine works. Can’t imagine what state I’d be in without it. Stay safe” she wrote.
Hulisani is not the only celeb that is currently battling the B11259 virus after Minnie Dlamini Jones took to Instagram and shared the sad news of testing positive for the Omicron variant with her followers.
The mother of one shared that she dreaded having the virus again after her previous battle with it. Unlike last time, it looks like Minnie is the only one in her family to have caught the virus but hopefully the vaccine will do what it’s supposed to, because we need our annual December fix of Minnie Dlamini poolside holiday photo dumps.
