Here’s How Much The Soil Bandmates Were Cashing After Their First Hits! Same old story, just a different celeb. We often hear how some of our local celebs scored major deals or made a lot of money early in their careers and somehow blew it all up to only come back to the start.

Well, much loved singing group, The Soil was no different or at least one of them. In a recent interview on Metro FM with Rams Mabote, The Soil leading man Ntsika Ngxanga revealed how they were making a lot of money after their first hit.

“We are making a lot of money. The trick is  how you maintain it. I remember just after 2012 when we really started racking it up. In a month, individually, we would have no less than R350,000 a month as a salary.

“You are talking about kids here who just came from varsity and came from Soweto, which is a place where we didn’t have a lot of money and we were starting to make money our parents couldn’t even dream about,” he said.

Ngxanga admitted to misusing his money by partying up a storm saying he’d spent until he had to borrow money from his brother that’s when he realized how badly he was spending.

“People go out there to prove themselves using flashy cars and misleading the youth. We have to breed a different kind of millionaire. We can’t all be at Taboo partying up a storm. We could be at home with our wives and family,” he said.
