It looks like Real Housewives of Durban stars Nonku Williams and Jojo Robinson are friends again! Just days after it seemed like their seven-year friendship had ended, Jojo posted a fun and emotional video on Instagram showing the two reality stars hugging and laughing together.
In the video, Jojo is standing alone when Nonku suddenly sneaks up behind her and hugs her tightly. They both scream with excitement, jump up and down, and run hand-in-hand toward the beach. It’s a sweet and funny moment, made even more entertaining by the music Jojo chose for the video — Eminem’s hit “Without Me,” which includes the lyrics: “Guess who’s back? Back again?”
Jojo captioned the post: “When you just ended a 7-year friendship publicly 7 days ago.”
Fans were overjoyed to see the two women reunited. Many shared their thoughts in the comments, saying they were happy to see forgiveness in action. One fan wrote, “Adults need to watch this and learn about forgiveness. Sometimes it’s really not that deep. Love this.” Another added, “Friendships have ups and downs, just like relationships. I love you guys. #JOKUFORLIFE.”
Their reunion comes after a few emotional posts from both stars about their broken friendship. A few days earlier, Jojo posted a heartfelt letter to Nonku on Instagram, expressing how much she valued their time together.
She wrote: “Dear Nonkie Nonks, I hope you find peace and love with whoever you choose in this life. I loved every second we spent together, and I’m forever grateful for the friendship we shared… I understand that you are going in a different direction, and I hope one day we get to talk again in person.”
Nonku then responded with a long message of her own. She explained that there had been a misunderstanding and that some of her words were taken the wrong way, especially when she called their friendship “surface level.”
“I never intended to denounce our friendship or diminish the value that Jojo has brought to my life,” Nonku shared. “I want to apologize for using the words ‘surface level’… I tend to be very blunt… and I’m actively working on being more mindful and gentle in my delivery.”
She also spoke about her spiritual journey and how it has changed how she connects with people. “As I’ve drawn closer to God, I’ve entered a space of deeper intimacy with Him,” she said.
Nonku made it clear that she still loves Jojo and wants their friendship to continue. “I love Jojo, and I’m committed to our friendship… I’m deeply grateful for the years we’ve shared.”
Now, with smiles, hugs, and Eminem playing in the background, it’s safe to say the friendship between Nonku and Jojo is back on, and fans couldn’t be happier.
