South African gospel singer and former Idols SA winner Khaya Mthethwa is officially a married man again! The award-winning artist tied the knot with fitness influencer Sine Ndlovu over the weekend, surprising fans with stunning photos from their traditional wedding ceremony.
The couple had kept their romance private, leaving many in awe when Khaya shared their beautiful wedding pictures on Instagram. He captioned the post with the sweet words, “Sthandwa sami,” which means “My love.”
Sine also took to her Instagram to share a heartfelt message filled with love and gratitude. She wrote, “Oh Hlangalezwe, Godongwane… Waze wabahlonipha abazali bami! Ngiyabonga Sthandwa Sam. Thank you for helping me rewrite my life’s story.” She also included a meaningful Bible verse, “Matthew 19:6 — So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
Speaking to News24, Khaya couldn’t hide his joy. “I’m very excited and happy,” he said with a smile. Reflecting on the special day, he explained that the ceremony was peaceful and full of love. “It was just our families — a very small, intimate gathering,” he shared. The couple said “I do” at Oasis Church in Umlazi, Durban, surrounded by close family and friends.
Khaya described his new wife as his greatest companion, expressing deep admiration for their long-standing friendship. “She’s my best friend. She’s been my friend for such a long time, so wherever I go, she goes; we’re never apart,” he lovingly said.
The couple is already planning exciting things together. Khaya revealed that they are preparing for an upcoming show at Montecasino, after which they will go on a very special honeymoon — though he kept the destination a secret.
Khaya Mthethwa was previously married to Miss South Africa 2016, Ntando Kunene. The two tied the knot in 2017 and divorced in 2019. They share a son together. Interestingly, Ntando also recently got married, marking a new chapter for both former partners.
Fans and followers flooded social media with congratulatory messages, celebrating Khaya’s fresh start and wishing the newlyweds a lifetime of love and happiness.
