Gogo Maweni Welcomes 40 With A Brand-New Body

South African traditional healer, reality television star and entrepreneur Gogo Maweni, whose real name is Makgotso Lee-Anne Makopo, has marked a major milestone in her life with a bold new chapter.

The star recently turned 40 and revealed that she underwent cosmetic surgery to get her new body. Gogo Maweni travelled to Turkey with her husband, Sabelo, where she underwent the procedure.

Taking to Instagram, Gogo Maweni gave her followers a glimpse into her experience, sharing a video of herself in hospital in Turkey following the surgery. In the footage, the reality television star could be seen in pain and covered in bandages as she recovered from the procedure.

Despite being in the early stages of her recovery, Gogo Maweni appeared excited about the results and hinted that fans will soon get to see her transformation once she has fully healed.

As she celebrated turning 40, Gogo Maweni reflected on the journey that brought her to this point. She wished herself a happy birthday and shared a lengthy message about growth, strength, love and entering a new chapter of her life.

She said, “Happy 40th birthday to me.
Today I celebrate four decades of life, growth, lessons, love, strength, and becoming the woman I am meant to be. I’m grateful for every chapter,the beautiful moments, the difficult seasons, the victories, the heartbreaks, and everything that shaped me along the way. I have grown, I have evolved, and I am entering this new chapter with wisdom, confidence, peace, and a deeper appreciation for life.

40 is not the end of anything. It is the beginning of a more powerful, intentional, luxurious, and beautiful era. I know who I am, I know what I deserve, and I am no longer afraid to choose myself. Here’s to more love, more happiness, more success, more blessings, unforgettable memories, and everything my heart desires.

The birthday celebration also came with a special message of appreciation for her husband, Sabelo, who accompanied her to Turkey and supported her throughout the process.

Gogo Maweni thanked him for standing by her and described him as an important source of strength in her life.
