Former Scandal Actress Joyce Skefu Updates Fans After Suffering Stroke. The seasoned actress has been periodically giving updates on her health since suffering a mild stroke in 2022.
Skefu suffered a mild stroke last year and found herself not being able to work, her health scare sparked reactions from fans and industry colleagues by sending well wishes, prayers and love, amid her health battle back in 2022, Joyce took to her Instagram to share a heartfelt message about her health, saying, “Good morning my lovelies hope you all well and kept by the grace of God, Ya life happens. I was quiet because I had a mild stroke got hospitalized but God did it again, I am doing therapies and getting better daily, but I sincerely thank you cause you were my strength even if I did not know, Thank you for your amazing love.”
Joyce recently took to her Instagram page, almost a year after her stroke scare to share a photo with a caption update on how her health had been improving, “Hi my beloved friends, this is my pic after many days I just wanted to express my gratitude to all of you for holding my hand in support of my recovery in thoughts and in prayer, what you see is the results of your kindness as the Easter celebration is upon us, we remember the kindness of Christ on the cross and his blood shared for humanity. Love you all,” the caption read.
