Can Sbu dig his grave any deeper? Right now we think he just might reach the core of the earth and burn! Remember we were so excited that Sbu’s energy drink made it into Forbes Magazine and the one thing we were questioning is if that cover we saw on Sbu’s Instagram was real or fake and well just in, the cover is fake ladies and gentlemen.

DJ Sbu kind of mastered the art of photoshop took an old cover of Forbes from 2013 and went on to put his own face on it and made the whole cover story all about his energy drink MoFaya.

MoFaya was mentioned in Forbes as one of the Top 3 beverages made and produced in Africa, however it was not the cover of Forbes.

Forbes released a statement to make people aware of the fact that the cover that Sbu was sharing  on social media is fictitious.

“On the 20th of March 2015 Forbes Africa was made aware of a fictitious cover being shared on social media of Sibusiso Leope, also known as DJ Sbu. The cover features the entrepreneur and an endorsement of Mr Leope’s locally manufactured energy drink.

This release is to inform the public at large that the cover in question, has been fabricated by Mr leope and in no way represents or warrants endorsement by Forbes Africa or its affiliates.”

Damn Sbu! What’s going on with your year bro? We hope this one does come with a huge invoice as well.

Check out the statement from Forbes below including the original cover that DJ Sbu edited:
