Faith Nketsi Reacts To Tweeps Suggesting Da L.E.S’ Hug Was Inappropriate. The rapper and television personality has again taken to her social media to address claims that rapper Da L.E.S’ warm embrace was inappropriate, for someone being married.
From having to defend herself from BBL rumours, her marriage supposedly falling apart to also having to defend herself for receiving a warm hug from an old industry friend, the reality television star has set the record straight. Faith and Da L.E.S recently attended an all-white party over the weekend and among the people that were in attendance were singer and reality television star, Londie London, rappers, L-Tido, K.O and many other celebrities.
In the midst of all the fun, laughter and good vibes a picture was taken of Faith Nketsi standing beside L-Tido, K.O and Da L.E.S giving her a hug—from the back with his hands wrapped all around her belly. The photo quickly surfaced on Twitter on Wednesday, 15 March and garnered many negative reactions from tweeps. Some tweeps went on to say that the hug was way too sexual for a supposed married woman, some argued that Faith shouldn’t have been allowing a man aside from her husband to touch her on her belly.
Some tweeps came to the ‘Have Faith’ star’s defence, saying they were reading too much into the hug as there was nothing harmful about it. Others added that such hugs and displays of platonic love were quite common in the entertainment industry.
Nketsi finally took to Twitter to pour cold water over suggestions that the hug was sexually improper, saying: “Hao bathong. I’ve known every one in this pic for more than a decade… so I can’t hang out with my peers now ?… aye LEAVE ME ALONE. Le ska borera hodima ka please.”
