Former Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 contestant Muzi The Mbuzi, real name Muziomhle Mdluli, is taking no chances when it comes to his safety. The outspoken entertainer has made it clear—he wants security guards with him at all times, even when making a quick stop at the toilet!

“I want security guards even when I’m going to the toilet to pee,” Muzi told Daily Sun.

The 29-year-old recently shared that a frightening incident made him rethink his approach to safety. As a result, he has decided to stop publicly posting his gig guide to avoid potential threats.

Taking to social media, Muzi explained that he and his team are implementing a new security strategy to ensure his well-being at events. Speaking to Daily Sun, he revealed that going forward, security personnel will be included in his bookings.

“I have a problem posting my gigs now because of what happened last weekend. Some people just want to trigger you for no reason. Luckily, I got out of the situation ASAP. But you never know if people are coming to show love or have bad intentions,” he shared.

Muzi emphasised the importance of being alert as a public figure. “If you’re a public figure, you need to be aware of your surroundings. If I hadn’t left that situation, it could’ve been a different story. From now on, we’re doing things differently,” he said.

He further explained how security measures will be handled at his events. “At every gig, there must be security escorting us from the car, inside the venue, also when we’re just chilling. We have to be safe until we leave,” Muzi said.

While he didn’t name the venue where the incident took place, he gave details about what happened. “This guy came and pushed one of my boys. I don’t know if he was trying to get to me or what, but it was clear he wanted a fight. I saw what was happening, but my manager told me we should leave, and we left,” he recalled.

Despite the unsettling experience, Muzi assured his fans that he remains focused on his music.  “I have new music coming up soon,” he said.

Fans can expect fresh releases from the reality star, who is determined to keep making waves in the entertainment industry while still keeping safe.
