The masses were left with a bitter sweet feeling after he gave a stellar final performance alongside Pasi Koetle who plays the role of Dintle and Natasha Sutherland who play the role of Quinton’s mother, Layla.
Viewers of the show witnessed a horrible accident during the episode where Zenzela Khubeka crashed a truck into a launch that Dintle was having with all her loved ones present. Unfortunately Quinton lost his life due to the accident and lets just say that the trio gave a tear jerking performance.
Scandal fans are still going on about how Koetle and Sutherland deserve awards for their top class performances last night when they found out about Quinton’s death. Pasi also took the time to bid farewell to her onscreen husband with a heartfelt goodbye message.
The actress expressed how the show has grown both of them as actors and has taught her especially to the tricks of the trade when it comes to showbiz. Koetle added that she and Sutherland were encouraged to give their best performances because of Ngoma’s professionalism. The actress shared that towards the end of their shooting days, she would leave set with a heavy heart because she was mourning the end of the Quinton and Dintle era.
She ended off the message by wishing him all the best in his career going forward, sharing how she believes in his talents and how it will take him very far.
“Dear Quinton ..Bathong?How does my broken little heart even begin.I feel like we both grew up on @officialetvscandal , but The entire journey feels like I was observing a masterclass on how to be the consummate professional, always on time, respect the art, and most importantly respect fellow artists. The depths to which myself and @natasha.sutherland had to dig in order to bring the best out of ourselves was only made easier by the fact that your professionalism and energy demand that we too, really bring it.
“Dintle As a character has been through so much, lost so much, triumphed over a lot, and somehow always came out at the end of the tunnel. Our last scenes together were somewhat different though, because often I would leave set after work still feeling heavy, and finding it difficult to debrief. I suspect that this was because deep down inside I was also mourning what seems like an abrupt end of an era. Farewell my friend and may you go on to bigger and better things, because the one thing you have in abundance is talent, and it will carry you far” she wrote.
Pasi’s fans and followers flooded the post to congratulate her on the iconic performance and wished Brighton all the best in his future endeavours.
