It seems the fairy tale romance between media personality Minnie Dlamini and celebrity plastic surgeon Dr Brian Monaisa has come to an unexpected end—just a few months after the couple made their relationship public.
Fans were still celebrating their love story when whispers of a breakup began to spread. The couple had only recently started showing their relationship on social media, sharing joyful moments from trips to places like Zimbabwe and Lagos.
Back in February, things looked picture-perfect. Dr Brian lovingly referred to Minnie as his “girl” in a social media post, writing: “I asked my girl to come with me for a business trip, she made it amazing.”
The romance appeared to be growing stronger in March, when Minnie organized an extravagant birthday celebration for Dr Brian. She gave her followers a glimpse of the party and captioned it: “Happy birthday to Dr Bumz. To many more. Thank you to everyone that made this birthday month amazing. P.S y’all better step up in July.”
Dr Brian responded with heartfelt words: “WOW!!! Words cannot describe the content of my heart right now, thank you all my friends and family who came out to celebrate my birthday with me last night! Thank you my love for putting this together, your grace and charm is unmatched.”
However, the fairy tale soon faced dark clouds. Rumours of cheating began to circulate online after Dr Brian posted a cryptic Instagram story saying: “I am sorry Brian. I will never cheat again.”
After recently ending their relationship, Dr Brian Monaisa who had been dating Minnie Dlamini shared a cryptic Instagram Story while on vacation in Maputo.

“I note with deep dismay that a tabloid newspaper published a malicious article regarding the reasons my relationship with Ms Minenhle Dlamini ended. The article, as it acknowledges, is based on rumours and is far from the truth… This specific rumour is malicious and has the potential to taint Ms Dlamini’s reputation.”
He continued: “Ms Dlamini and I had a beautiful relationship which sadly came to an end purely for personal reasons which had nothing to do with infidelity by either party. Whilst our romantic relationship has come to an end, there remains mutual respect between Ms Dlamini and I.”
To make things even clearer, both Minnie and Dr Brian have removed all photos of each other from their Instagram accounts—confirming the breakup without saying another word.
