DJ Zinhle’s Reality Show ‘Unexpected’ Season 2 Comes To An End. On 6 August 2022, DJ Zinhle – The Unexpected returned to our televisions for a second season. This season served black love, black excellence, honesty, and all-around inspiration to BET Africa viewers. Our favourite DJ led us on a journey through the numerous hats she wears as a successful businesswoman, an award-winning DJ, a dedicated mother, a trendsetter, an inventor, and her new title this season, a wife! Inspiring much?

In the first episode, Zinhle made the jaw-dropping announcement that she is now Mrs. Mohosana, living true to the show’s subtitle “The Unexpected.” This came as a shock because Zinhle had previously made a loud declaration that marriage was not at all in the cards for her. Viewers had a front-row seat as Murdah Bongz sent representatives to the Jiyane residence for the lobola negotiations to foster positive relationships between the two families.

As the season went on, Zinhle’s journey was revealed to be one of empire building, with the opening of her flagship store for Era by Zinhle at Mall of Africa, the largest shopping center in South Africa. The entrepreneur went all out for the store opening, offering luxury and sophistication. Zinhle didn’t stop there; she also prepared for her high-end beauty parlour, HairMajesty, which would be the next significant milestone in her life.

We’ve watched DJ Zinhle’s brand grow over the years, but we can never take for granted how many young women and girls she has helped break down barriers for. Since she founded her first female-only deejaying school, she has devoted a significant portion of her professional life to the advancement of women. She has worked tirelessly to encourage women and create environments in which they can realize their potential. In honour of Era by Zinhle’s tenth anniversary, she continues to inspire and uplift women.

The upcoming finale of DJ Zinhle: The Unexpected is a must-watch as she celebrates baby Asante’s first birthday and ups the ante on her boss-lady energy with another store launch.

Don’t miss it! Exclusively on BET Africa DStv channel 129 at 19:30 CAT this Saturday.
