When it comes to pregnancy we really don’t know what the actual difficult part is, giving birth or losing weight after. *Jokes*
A lot of women struggle with losing the baby fat that they gain during their pregnancy. While other celebrities go under the knife to get rid of the weight, others choose the more natural way of doing things. Even with the natural way a little help is always needed, for example, there are supplements that can be taken to help curb appetite or aid in getting those energy levels up to work out, it all depends on the needs of the individual. Websites such as Favorece can assist with making the right choice in supplements so that it suits the individual, however, it is important to bear in mind that consultation with a doctor before taking anything is highly needed.
It’s just been six months since DJ Zinhle gave birth to baby Kairo, and we must say she’s looking greater than ever.
The DJ has come out to share all her weight loss secrets and what you need to do to get yourself summer ready if you failed last summer.
Taking to her blog, Moments by DJ Zinhle, Zinhle shared a few secrets with her fans to help them get back into shape. The DJ also shares that she’s still 3Kg away from her pre-baby weight, and adds that it took a lot of hard work to get where she is.
“I need to be honest with you, there is no shortcut. There is no easy road. Anything worth having won’t come easy. The truth is, there is no secret.”
She also shares that there really is no secret to her weight loss just a lot of determination and hard work.
The DJ’s Top 3 Steps To Toning Up:
1. Set a fitness goal and plan how to get there: “How much weight do you want to lose? Write that down, weigh yourself right now and start your journey. I would suggest you keep a journal.”
2. Five times a week in the gym: “I rise early, by 5 am I am at gym. I start my day with an hour workout.” Include the help of a Fitbit when you exercise as well, this way you can see how many steps you are doing and this will help motivate you to keep going. You can check out Mobile Mob for more information on Fitbits.
3. 20% exercise and 80% diet: “Exercise is great and bears results but if you are not eating right, you will not see the results. Your exercise program needs to be accompanied by a healthy and balanced diet if you want to see the results and lose weight. Exercise alone is not going to get you far.”
She also shares that she listens to a lot of motivational talks to help her get out of bed and off to the gym on those lazy days when she doesn’t feel like doing anything.
