DJ Zinhle Reacts To Assumptions That She Was Mean To Pearl Thusi In Viral Video. There has been a lot of speculations sorounding DJ Zinhle and Pearl Thusi’s friendship for almost a year now. Whilst both parts have denied falling out, Mzansi is not convinced they are still on great terms.
Besides seemingly not hanging out as much as they used to, those who follow the duo closely have noticed how they don’t push each other’s brands like they used to, at least publicly. Another reason is how they are seen interacting with each other in public spaces, more so DJ Zinhle’s body language.
Whilst it’s not clear who wronged the other in case of them no longer being BFF’s, tweeps are calling out Zinhle following a recent viral video of the two interacting at both their friend, Moozlie’s 30th birthday celebration Wednesday night.
In the video, Zinhle seemed to be sidelining Pearl and dismissing her with her hand as she tried to dance with her whilst she DJs. Pearl is seen walking away seemingly embarrassed. The video was taken at Montana club were Pearl was booked to host the bash whilst Zinhle was booked to DJ.
One Tweep posted the video in shock over how it seemed to them that Zinhle was being mean. “Yo DJ Zinhle couldn’t even pretend with Pearl Thusi,” the tweep captioned the video. Another felt for Pearl asking her to let go of the friendship. “People honestly do not know when it’s over ,friendship ,relationship anything. You need to see it’s over,” the tweep tweeted.
Following the duo rising up in Twitter trends list, Zinhle took to the platform to address the speculations and explain what was happening.
“1/2: Hey guys. I need to clear things up. Pearl & I had a great time & on the video you saw, I was gesturing to Brandon, whom I was playing a set with, to come & select the song cause we were using his USB,” Zinhle tweeted.
“2/2: Also. Why would Pearl smile when she walked away if I was being mean to her? Please stop vilifying me… STOP!,” she added. Zinhle concluded explaining why she spoke up. “Also. Y’all keep saying I don’t need to explain myself so you can push the narrative that entertains you. I was never mean to Pearl… not at all…,” she tweeted.
Even after clarifying, tweeps continued insinuating that Pearl smiled because she was embarrassed and that there was no need for Zinhle to prove anything to anyone. “What we saw is what we saw,” one Tweep Reacted.
Pearl seem to to not be bothered as she reposted the video to her Instagram. Zinhle also posted a photo embracing Pearl.
