DJ Zinhle Drops Dramatic Trailer For Her Reality Show As Pearl Thusi Gives An Update On Their Friendship. It’s been a great week for DJ Zinhle who is living her best life on vacation in Zanzibar. Before she left, Zinhle was announced as a SAFTA nominee in the Best Structured Reality Show category for her reality show, DJ Zinhle: Unexpected.
BET also announced the return of the reality show for its second season set to premier on the 6th of August on BET Africa channel. Whilst on the outside Zinhle seem to be living the rockstar lifestyle, the teaser for the upcoming season of the show shows the raw, unfiltered life the DJ lives. The trailer shows the challenges Zinhle has faced lately whilst trying to juggle her life as a DJ, mother, entrepreneur, friend and girlfriend.
The trailer begins with a sneak peek of what looks like a ceremony for Zinhle which had fans curious if her boyfriend and baby daddy Bonangi had paid lobola for her. Watch below.
Meanwhile Zinhle has also been a topic on social media with speculations of a strained friendship between herself and Pearl Thusi. Whilst Zinhle has remained mum on the rumors and no sign of Pearl on the second season of her reality show, Pearl took to twitter setting the record straight. The actress assured fans that all is well in her friendship with Zinhle. “Guys- Zee and I are still very much friends. Can this nonsense stop now,” Pearl tweeted over the weekend.
