Kairo Forbes is celebrating a special milestone as she turns 11 years old today, and the birthday wishes from her family have been nothing short of heartwarming.
DJ Zinhle marked her daughter’s birthday by sharing a collection of beautiful photos of the two of them together. Alongside the pictures, the award-winning DJ and businesswoman penned an emotional message reflecting on Kairo’s journey and the joy she has brought into her life over the years.
DJ Zinhle wrote, “Happy 11th birthday my love, my sweet baby Kairo.
Who would’ve thought that one day you would be the one making me laugh? Your sense of humor, your quick wit, and the joy you bring into every room are some of my favourite things about you.
Watching you grow has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. And while becoming a big sister wasn’t always easy at first, I couldn’t be prouder of the young girl you’re becoming. You’ve embraced the role with so much love, patience, and care, and seeing the bond you share with your little sister fills my heart every single day. The touching tribute celebrated Kairo’s kind heart, sense of humour and the loving relationship she shares with her younger sister. DJ Zinhle also spoke about how proud she is to watch her daughter grow into a confident and caring young girl.
The birthday celebrations were made even more special as Kairo’s grandmother, Lynn Forbes, also shared a heartfelt tribute. Lynn posted a video montage featuring some of their happiest memories together, including moments of them dancing, travelling on flights and enjoying time together on the ice-skating rink.

Kairo also received a sweet birthday message from her stepfather, Murdah Bongz.
