DJ Zinhle and her husband, Bongani “Mörda” Mohosana, pulled out all the stops to celebrate their daughter Asante’s fourth birthday, throwing a glamorous Barbie-themed party that had everyone talking. The celebration was filled with love, style, and plenty of pink magic for their little princess.
On 8 September, the Mohosana family marked a very special milestone as Asante turned four years old. Proud mom Zinhle, known for sharing intimate family moments online, took to Instagram to show off the big day. She posted a touching tribute alongside adorable pictures of her daughter.
She wrote, “Pie is 4. I’ve been going through all her pictures and I can’t believe how much she’s grown. @asantewithlove happy birthday my sweet baby, you light up our world with your laughter and your love for music. My superstar baby pie, may your 4th year be as magical as your smile, as stylish as your wardrobe, and as joyful as you make us feel. I love you Santana.”
Her husband, Bongani Mohosana, also known as Murdah Bongz, shared a touching video of Asante dressed in a pink princess gown surrounded by pink and white balloons. Alongside the clip, he wrote, “Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter @asantewithlove.”
The party itself was nothing short of enchanting. With Barbie-inspired décor, vibrant balloons, and a stunning cake, the Mohosanas created a celebration fit for their stylish little girl. The event captured the perfect mix of family love and childlike wonder, leaving fans gushing over the beautiful pictures.
Asante holds a special place in her parents’ lives. She is DJ Zinhle’s second daughter, born in 2021 from her marriage to Mörda. Her older sister, Kairo Forbes, is from Zinhle’s previous relationship with the late rapper AKA. Mörda, who has always embraced fatherhood, even honoured Asante in 2022 by naming his music album Asante after her.
