DJ Fresh is not happy at all and has come out with his guns blazing and he’s gunning for Daily Sun for publishing a story that he had no say in.
About two weeks ago media reports were filled with claims that DJ Fresh fathered a child out of wedlock with long time manager, Tsholo Mosaka.
Well the 5FM DJ is back in the country and wants to set the record straight and clear his name.
The article that was published in the newspaper claims that DJ Fresh has a 4-year-old child with his manager Tsholo and that he’s managed to keep his affair with her out of the public eye for almost a decade now. Fresh insists that all these claims are untrue and that he was given a fair chance to redeem himself of them before the story was published.
When Tsholo Mosaka, who is the mother of the apparent love child was contacted by the paper for comment, she apparently told them that she did not want to open a can of worms but, they should go ahead and ask Fresh about their child.
Fresh’s wife, Thabiso Sikwane, was also allegedly contacted for comment and responded to the publication by asking them where they got their story from.
DJ Fresh has since laid a charge against the publication with the Press Council and has also released a statement requesting a full-front page apology and that the article be removed from the Daily Sun website and all other publications that have repeated the allegations.
“I do not have a child with her and must add I was not given fair opportunity to reply to any of the allegations either. The article correctly states that I was in Botswana – but no attempt was made to contact me at my hotel and no attempt was made to obtain contact details for me in Botswana from my wife, my manager or anybody else. There was no attempt to contact me through social media.”
Fresh’s statement goes on to add that the article has caused immeasurable harm to his rights, privacy, dignity and his media reputation.
All we want to ask his; why did Tsholo tell the paper to go ahead and open a can of worms? That’s all we want to know really…
