When celebs go on a twitter rant it’s often for their own egos. Trust DJ Black Coffee to do it for the masses. After the Metro FM’s biggest snubs in SA Awards history, Black Coffee took to twitter to put the radio station in it’s place and judging by the number of likes and retweets he got, it’s safe to say social media agrees with him. After ‘Wololo’ singer Babes Wodumo walked away with Dololo awards and rapper Kwesta’s Ngudu not winning song of the year, a lot of people were convinced something is happening behind the scenes.

“Just watched the #MMA16….maybe it’s time @METROFMSA do what they do best and remain a Radio Station?,” Black Coffee tweeted. Bkack Coffee tweeted how if his Award didn;t have his name on it he would have given it to Kwesta and Babes Wodumo.

Coffee expressed his disappointment with the lack of recognition with his hit remix of Alicia Keys’ “In Common” tweeting, “So on Remix category….there was actually no Remix?….Meanwhile the Alicia Keys remix was on high rotation and played across the World?”

Black Coffee says the rigging is not helping the culture as it should.

I guess we’ve been quiet for too long…..Respects to @rikyrickworld for speaking the truth…..??????????
