‘We Didn’t Get Divorced, We Separated,’ Ayanda Thabethe On Andile Ncube

Star on the rise Ayanda Thabethe is killing it right now with a new TV show on BET Africa and as the face of Legit Fashion amongst other things. She has come a long way from her modelling days and now admitting she has also learnt a lot about herself in her personal life. ‘We didn’t get divorced, we separated,’ Ayanda Thabethe on Andile Ncube.

Speaking to Drum the media personality revealed she wasn’t legally married to Ayanda Ncube, they had had a traditional wedding only. “We didn’t get divorced, we separated. We were not legally wed,’ she told the mag.

Ayanda says she felt that her energy was misdirected and now knows where to direct her efforts, time and energy. “I learnt a lot, but one thing that stands out is the importance of knowing oneself. If you know yourself, you know what deserves your time and effort.”
