Back in 2021 the couple had announced that they had broken up and would continue coparenting their son but speculations are that they had not broken up but kept their relationship private.
Recently, the couple posted a steamy photo with a facetious caption making a joke about their break and also how Tino moves mountains for her. The pictures had people talking under the comments because of the romancing and also Simphiwe changing her surname to ‘Chinyani’. Tino also posted a series of photos with the two of them posing in a risqué manner, with the caption “Forever.”
The comments under the pictures extended to fans wondering and asking if the two were indeed married because of Simphiwe changing her last name to “Chinyani”.
Simphiwe Ngema and Tino Chinyani share a son together, named Tiyani Kemorena Michael Chinyani. Their baby boy was born in June of 2020, upon the arrival of Tiyani, Simphiwe took to her Instagram sharing a video that she had given birth to a bouncing baby boy and they had launched a clothing line in their baby’s honour.
“On the 23rd of June 2020 we gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Tiyani Kemorena Michael Chinyani and this ladies and gentlemen is his legacy. @tiyani_afrika clothing brand,” Simphiwe captioned the video.
A few months after the couple’s first baby arrival, the pair shared shocking news that had many of their glorified fans devastated and upset. Simphiwe took to her Instagram to reveal that she and Tino had decided to part ways and that their separation was on good terms and added that they were even committed to coparenting their son, Tiyani.
“An end to a beautiful love story. This has been one of my greatest experiences, a beautiful love story of two people fighting all the odds to be together. I have learnt to love again, to feel again, to live again and to smile again,” Simphiwe wrote.
“I’I will forever be grateful for everything you have taught me. I pray that God gives us the strength and wisdom to raise our beautiful son. Tiyani Chinyani we will always be great parents to you and we will always be there for you,” she continued.
“No tears here, just lessons learnt and beautiful memories. Here’s to friendship and dope a** co-parenting. Tino, take care of yourself. Love you forever and always,” Simphiwe concluded.
