Cults And Witch Doctors! Teko Modise Reveals Details Of His Troubled Past! The football star recently released a tell all autobiography called, ‘The Curse Of Teko Modise’ and if the title doesn’t tell you just how juicy it is, this bizarre story will.
In the book Teko opens up about a time when things seemed to be going downhill after the 2010 World Cup. Teko says he was contacted by a woman named ‘Melissa’ who knew intimate details about his daily life.
Melissa allegedly called Modise Every. Single. Day. For two years. The book details how the woman would call Teko to warn him about things. One time Modise was warned not to go to a party of friend and then Kaizer Chiefs right-back Siboniso Gaxa.
“‘If you do‚ your car will give you problems when you wake up in the morning’,” Mellisa had told Modise who still went to the party. The next morning his new BMW M3 had been ‘vandalized beyond recognition’ … Someone had taken a sharp object and scratched the paint off.
Melissa had told Modise an organization wanted him to join them because they needed a soccer player. He was guaranteed him a lifetime of wealth.
Desperate Teko followed directions to a church in-between nothing and nowhere. There were a number of people there‚ all of them white people and dressed in black. Modise was later told to go to a bank and withdraw all the money from an account he thought was empty. He found R100 000 deposited in the account‚ but only withdrew R1 000.
After distancing himself from the cult, Teko was again approached by a ‘King from Congo’. He went to the king’s expensive house in Houghton on various occasions‚ on one where a ritual was performed where the football star told and closed his eyes.
The king then gave Modise a gift of a white rabbit pulled from a box that had been shown to be empty. Modise paid the king R50 000 which was changed into dollars and got burnt before his eyes.
It’s said to have been his final straw to get his life together.
