According to a post shared by TV blog @TvblogbyMLU on 2 September 2026, the veteran actress is set to appear on the soapie once more as her beloved character, Karabo Moroka.

The show’s official Instagram page has also seemingly teased the character’s return. Instead of revealing Ferguson herself, Generations: The Legacy shared a picture of a door with the name “Karabo” written on it, leaving fans to speculate about what her return could mean for the current storyline.

Connie Ferguson played the iconic lead role of Karabo Moroka on the South African soap opera Generations. She starred on the show from its inception in 1994 until her departure in 2010.
