Connie Ferguson is leaving Generations again. Barely two years after joining the new cast of Generations:The Legacy, Connie is saying goodbye to the soapie that made her a household name the first time around.
Generations:The Legacy’s publicity manager Gaaratwe Mokhethi revealed the news on their website saying, “It is with great disappointment that we have to announce the departure of the much-loved Karabo Moroka‚ played by the talented Connie Ferguson.”
“She’s working on a couple of projects that need her undivided attention and has asked to be released from her contract. Generations: The Legacy family wishes her all the best with her endeavours and trusts she will continue playing a key role in the industry”, he continued.
And no there’s no bad blood between Connie Ferguson and the soapie’s executive producer Mfundi Vundla who said he will eternally be grateful for her contribution to the growth of our industry.
Connie herself reportedly confirmed the news to a local publication saying it is true, she is indeed leaving.
