In a candid Instagram Live session, social media influencer and club host Cindy Makhathini revealed the details of her recent breakup with DJ Felo Le Tee. The couple, who had publicly shared their romance through affectionate social media posts, has been apart for a month, Cindy confirmed.
Visibly emotional, Cindy explained the reasons behind their split, expressing her disillusionment with relationships within the entertainment industry. “If you’re not forgiving, if there is something I did wrong and we love each other and we get over the situation after I apologise, then you bring all those things which you said you had forgiven me when we break up, why didn’t you break up with me at that time?” she questioned during the live session. She hinted at unresolved issues and a lack of genuine forgiveness from her ex-partner.
Cindy didn’t shy away from detailing the end of their relationship, accusing DJ Felo Le Tee of disrespect and dishonesty. “He called me all kinds of names you can imagine. He disgusts me, this man, he’s a liar,” she declared, her frustration palpable.
The influencer admitted that she might have made mistakes, attributing some of her actions to being provoked. “It was not stuff I did, it was stuff I said because I was being provoked. I’m not playing victim. He probably has his side of the story,” she acknowledged.
Despite the heartbreak, Cindy seems resolute in her decision to move forward. She has vowed to steer clear of dating within the industry, a move she believes will shield her from similar future disappointments.
As she navigates this difficult period, Cindy’s candidness has garnered both sympathy and support from her followers, who are rallying behind her with messages of encouragement.
