Isn’t it just weird that the Prince of Mahikeng won’t be a part of the biggest annual Motswako event in SA?
Cassper Nyovest recently filled up The Dome with 20 000 people but, it looks like the Maftown rapper will be taking a little breather from the stage for now.
It’s been brought to light that the Phumakim’ hit maker who is currently on Baecation will not be performing at the Motswako event.
According to Sunday World the rapper told the event organisers that he’s not about supporting other people’s events anymore. Uhmmm…that sounds off considering her needed a lot of support for his event.
The annual music festival was co-founded by Khuli Chana and Refiloe Ramogase. Ramogase told the paper that there’s no beef between them and Cassper. “As a festival it’s our mission to unite the Motswako family under one umbrella, alongside the cream of South African hip hop music. As such, we reach out to and try to book as many acts from the Motswako fratenity as possible.”
He also shares that the final line-up for the event was made up with acts that are available for the event. “Cassper’s team indicated he was unavailable to perform at this year’s event,” he said.
Even though the organisers say all is cool, Cassper admits otherwise.
