Until the 31st of October arrives we think Cassper Nyovest will pretty much be making the news every single day!

Things are slowly but surely falling into place for the big concert, the rapper even revealed that ticket sales will start on the 1st of August. (Get all the details HERE.)

Speaking to ANN7 Cassper revealed that he’s really over playing in small clubs  and wants to showcase his talent on a larger scale, he also adds that he hopes that him selling out The Dome will inspire others and let them know that it’s possible, and make it a norm for local artists to perform at the venue.

A lot of people have been questioning whether or not Cassper can actually do it with other celebrities like Anele stressing all the costs that hiring The Dome comes with but, Cassper reveals that hiring the venue is just the beginning of all the costs that he will endure.

“The whole concert is costing me about 4 million rand to do. The biggest part of the budget is the stage and the lighting and the production. I don’t think people have seen any South African or African with this kind of production.”

“You really need to come see what Africans can do if they are given the same platform, the same production and the same support. Our music is just as good,” the rapper adds.

Cassper revealed that a number of artists are coming forward to offer their support to be a part of the history making, yesterday he even revealed that Black Coffee will be joining him on stage.

We really can’t wait to see who else will be a part of #FillUpTheDome. The big question is, are you ready South Africa?
