Cassper Nyovest surprised many people when he showed up at the MAMAs red carpet Saturday night. Not only because of his major weight loss but his suit game was on another level. The biggest shock however came when we couldn’t see his trademark hairstyle, the ponytail. Cassper Nyovest reveals why he cut his trademark ponytail.
Cassper says his new look goes with his new position. He explained that he’s no longer just a rapper but a businessman and a boss. “I’m growing up bro, my brand is growing up. I’m a CEO now. It’s time for me to boss up and clean up,” the MAMA winning rapper said.
Cassper says he didn’t expect people to react they way they did saying he didn’t know people were attached to it. “I didn’t know how much of an emotional attachment people had to it. If the guy who was cutting my hair was like, ‘man I can’t believe you making me do this’,” he said.
Whilst we are loving Cassper’s new look, we are also wondering what nickname AKA will give him since ‘Mr Pony’ won’t make sense anymore.
