South African rapper Cassper Nyovest is celebrating a major milestone — his first wedding anniversary with his wife, Pulane Phoolo. To mark the special day, Cassper shared beautiful pictures from their wedding on Instagram along with a touching message dedicated to Pulane.
In his emotional post, Cassper looked back on their journey together over the past year. He wrote,
“Can’t believe it’s been a year already since I got married to my person. Ngwanyana wa Motswana wa sematsatsa!!! Ous Mpopi! Kea go rata saan.”
Cassper spoke about how, often, when people reflect on a year of marriage, they tend to talk about the struggles and hardships. But for him, this moment was all about gratitude and love.
“Commonly when one wants to write something reflecting on a full year or a relationship there’s a lot of pain and trauma. We have had our fair share. I don’t wanna reflect on that though. What I wanna talk about today is the fact that you gave me a chance to be with the woman I loved the most.”
The rapper described how happy he was when Pulane agreed to marry him, calling it one of the happiest days of his life. He continued,
“I was the happiest man alive the day you said to me and agreed to be my wife, and I will never forget what a privilege it is that you afforded me. You had a choice and you chose to give me a chance. I hope you never regret it. I hope to make you laugh and smile daily until the Lord takes me.”
Cassper also opened up about his commitment to their marriage, making it clear that he was in it for life.
“I don’t know what true love is and what it’s supposed to look like, but one thing I’m very certain of is the fact that I plan on never giving up, walking out on us, or ever calling another woman my wife or my woman. I’m doing this marriage thing 1 time and 1 time only!!! Happy 1 year anniversary babe.”
