Well it looks like we won’t be hearing the end of Fill Up The Dome any time soon.

Yes that’s right Cassper Nyovest did it and he doesn’t want the praise to ever stop.

The rapper shares that he’s not happy with how radio stations are treating him and he feels like he’s not getting the love that he deserves.

He adds that despite his album Refiloe going platinum on Tuesday, radio stations are still not showing him any love.

Speaking to Bonang on The Front Row on Metro FM on Wednesday morning about the situation Cassper says:

“Yo, I just went platinum like yesterday… and I don’t have any singles playing on radio except Mama I Made It, it’s an old song. I just put out 20 songs, I don’t have one song that’s playing on radio. We’ve been trying to submit for almost three weeks now for a new song on radio. They don’t play my stuff on radio, man, but if you see on TV and radio they play other guys on high rotation. My stuff they play once in a while. For me it’s such a big problem, I’m trying to grow.”

He adds that he should be getting more love and respect from radio stations after his Fill Up The Dome show.

“For me, after doing The Dome, I need to be treated like Beyoncé in my country. Like the radio is supposed to play me like Beyoncé, you know what I’m saying. and I need it. The fact that I’m doing well without it is cool, but I think my music needs to play on radio ’cause I need it. I don’t need to be fighting for my music to be played on radio.”

When asked why he thinks things are the way they are, he elaborates by saying: “There’s a personal vendetta against me, and I hear about it a lot. Apparently DJs say I’m too big now, I don’t greet them or they don’t see me around, you know. People want me to chill with them and I’m busy.”

He then goes on to plead with radio DJ’s to start playing his music more: “I’m just asking for people to play my music. I’m not trying to fight with anybody, I don’t think I’m bigger than anybody because of the numbers.”
