Candice Modiselle Slams Black Men Who Shame Curvy Women For Wearing Revealing Clothing. Men have gotten away with a lot of scrutiny toward women, constantly making them feel insecure about their bodies among other things and female celebrities are speaking up against the hate because it needs to stop.
Former Generations The Legacy actress Candice Modiselle responded to a troll who dragged American female rapper Cardi B, accusing her of going out in public while “looking like a bum”.
“She really went to target looking like a bum” he said.
Modiselle replied to the troll saying that had it been a more slender and tall Caucasian woman such as the Hadid or the Jenner sisters who was wearing the same outfit going to a public place it would have been acceptable.
The actress pointed out that it’s black men more especially who ridicule and call fully figured women of color insensitive names like ratchet, tacky indecent and many other names that are equally as hurtful and it’s not okay.
“But if a Hadid or Jenner was captured dressed like this, you wouldn’t fix your lips and bump your gums about it. It’s always fully figured black women that are labeled as tacky, ratchet, “too sexy”, indecent or inappropriate. And shamed by who? Black men” she said.
It looks like black men still have a lot of changing to do don’t they!!!
