Actress, TV presenter, and beloved media personality Candice Modiselle is glowing with joy as she marks a special milestone—two months of being happily married to her husband, Sechaba Sello, whom she affectionately calls Ntate Sello.
Taking to Instagram, Candice shared a touching post full of gratitude and love as she celebrated their wedding blessing ceremony, a small and beautiful event filled with family, food, and faith. Reflecting on the day, she wrote:
“Today marks 2 months married and counting… A dream intimate wedding celebration – our blessing ceremony characterised by all of the things we cherish most – God, family & food all sewn together with love.”
Candice went on to mention that their special day almost didn’t go as planned due to weather changes, but thanks to their incredible event planner, things turned out perfectly. “@ssoccasions_za we honour you for making this all happen in a matter of hours. From venue changes due to weather, you truly blessed us this day.”
She also thanked Pastor Lereko and Kholo Tsoloane for their unwavering support and spiritual guidance: “The Tsoloanes – Pastor Lereko and Kholo, re a leboga. Your counsel, support, prayers and your presence will forever go unmatched.”
Of course, no bride forgets her glam squad. Candice gave a heartfelt shout-out to her trusted makeup and styling team, saying: “@makeupbyzodwa @tol_thema have never failed me in making me feel like a BRIDE. I appreciate you.”
And capturing all those magical moments was her friend and photographer: “@nando_editz my friend, you captured these moments so beautifully. Thank you!”
The most emotional part of her post was her message to their families: “Lastly, our family. We love you far more than words could quantify. I could write paragraphs but even that wouldn’t sum up how much this day meant to us.”
She ended her caption with a sweet and funny note to her husband: Ntate Sello, thank you for marrying me (He told me to type this). WE MERRIS!”
Candice also teased fans on her Instagram Story, writing: “16/05/2025 – My last day as a 30 year old and… Wait for it…” So, that means today is her final day at 30, and tomorrow she officially turns 31.
Back in March, Candice shared the first glimpse of her traditional wedding ceremony where she stunned in an elegant SeSotho outfit. Her caption then was simple but powerful: “And the two shall become one. My words are few. Thank you, Lord.”
Her sisters, Bontle and Refilwe Modiselle, were also part of the celebration, dressed in traditional attire to honour their heritage and unity.
When she first announced her engagement in December, Candice left fans in awe with her words of gratitude: “Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life… A perfect expression of God’s abounding love. I’m in awe.”
From her engagement to her wedding day and now two months into marriage, Candice Modiselle’s love journey continues to inspire and warm hearts.
