Buhle Samuels Reportedly Axed By etv’s #ImbewuTheSeed. We all go through up’s and downs in life and we have seen a few celebs go through major downs throughout the year. Actress Buhle Samuels is unfortunately also experiencing a bit of a down right now, after reports have confirmed that the model and influencer was recently given the boot from a popular TV production.
It was revealed by entertainment broadcast reporter Phil Mphela that the actress was let go from the fourth coming season of the production after not seeing eye to eye on her character. Mphela shared that Buhle who plays Zandile Majola on etv’s Imbewu, has been axed from the show after not agreeing with her character and its storyline development. The production is wasting no time as they have already found her replacement.
Actress Angela Sithole will now assume her role and she will make her debut this December on the show’s new season four. Fans have reacted to the news and they don’t seem to be all that devastated by the departure, saying she didn’t do justice to the role.
This is not the first time that reports of an actress getting axed from the popular production have circulated after former Muvhango actress Phindile Gwala also allegedly got booted off the show, because producers were not happy with her performance.
“Phindile’s on-screen character was being struck off because of her craft competence. The producers have it that her talent is not what the show runners expected out of her. However, it was revealed that the new producers were not very impressed, so they did not want to keep her” said a source.
The eTV soapie then came out rubbishing reports of Gwala being fired and set the record straight on why she left. Phindile who plays the role of Fikile on the eTV soapie left the show to pursue her other interests According to the show’s publicist Eugene Cele.
