You’d think being as talented and beautiful as she is would prevent her from heartbreak. Singer Monoea likes to keep her private life private until now, she opened up about her heartbreak and how she overcame it in an interview on Cliff Central.
Before she made it big, Monoea says she fell in love with a player. “there was this boy and he distracted me. I fell in love. He was my first love and he broke my heart and traumatized me”, she told Gareth.
The singer and actress says her now ex was a serial dater and would always cheat on her with many girls including her best friend. “He slept with my best friend after cheating on me with God knows who else. When I broke up with him‚ I broke up with him‚ because he had cheated on me with probably the tenth girl. But obviously I was in denial.”
Monoea says she’s no-longer friends with the girl who cheated with her ex and doesn’t plan on reconciliation. “We’re not friends any more. We will never be friends. She will never be a part of my life so I might as well forgive her.”
