Bonang Recalls Getting Negative Comments Upon Joining Top Billing

Bonang’s move from LIVE to Top Billing was received well by everyone. Now the star is revealing how it felt to be the one receiving all the negative feedback. Bonang recalls getting negative comments upon joining Top Billing.

“When things change people tend to be not very accommodating and they tend to be very reluctant. I remember leaving LIVE and joining Top Billing and they said Bonang is too ratchet, too loud and over the top for Top Billing,” she said.

Bonang shared how the same things were said when she joined Metro FM. “It hurt a lot. When I joined Metro FM they said, ‘what does she know about radio, just because she’s a celebrity? She’s going to flop’,” Bonang recalled.

“It was really hard. At the end of the day I’m human, I’m I’m Cancerian and Cancerian’s are the most sensitive in the zodiac. I’m a softie inside. There were moment when I cried. You read something, you see something and you cry.”
