Bonang Opens Up About Being In An Abusive Relationship! Bonang Matheba recently opened up about having been in an abusive relationship were she felt “worthless and drained”. 

“I have been in a relationship where the other person was completely controlling. You crumble and feel like you’ve hit rock bottom, the bottom of yourself,” the media personality said during an interview on Khaya FM.

Bonang shared that she only realized how bad she was being treated after she got out of the relationship. “It is disguised as love but love is supposed to be free. You only realize when you are out of the relationship,” she said.
