To stay relevant in this industry, you need to keep making all the right moves even if it includes taking risks.
Age ain’t nothing but a number but it’s a huge factor in the entertainment industry. One day you’re in and the next day you’re out.
Bonang Matheba has been in the industry for a number of years now and well with her ‘aging’ she needs to find new ways to expand her brand and stay in the game.
The beaut has often shared how she looks up to people like Basetsana Kumalo, who has managed to stay relevant in the media space without being on screen and having a stable empire.
Everyone has branded 2016 as their year of success and well it looks like Queen B is joining then success world by expanding her business networks.
Speaking to Sunday Times, Queen confirms that soon she’ll be branching out into behind-the-scenes work and taking that role seriously.
“I am in the final stages of talks to buy the rights to one of the biggest US TV lifestyle shows. It’s exciting coming this far in my career, and in managing my finances – still being able to attract the money and identify ways to expand that income.”
Sources close to the Queen share that she’s aware that people think her shine will soon wear out and well this is just one way of keeping the flame alight. “She’s very business savvy. She always has been. She thinks long-term and is strategic in her decisions. Of course things get to her – she’s human. She does, at times, get very affected by it all, but on the whole she’s focussed on business this year.”
We guess this explains why she’s been sport car shopping and buying Bae so many gifts. The money just keeps on coming.
