Before hitting cinemas nationwide, the highly anticipated sequel had a glamorous special screening in Johannesburg on Tuesday , 28 April, where celebrities fully embraced the “Runway Ready” theme inspired by the iconic Runway magazine from the film.
The sequel sees the return of fan-favourite stars including Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs, Emily Blunt as Emily, and Stanley Tucci as Nigel—bringing back the magic that made the original a cult classic for fashion lovers and millennials alike.
Among the standout attendees was media personality Bonang Matheba, who stole the spotlight with a bold and commanding look. She wore a structured black pinstripe corset suit featuring a sharply tailored blazer with exaggerated shoulders and a plunging neckline, complete with striking spiral detailing on the bust.
