Bonang Bags Another Major Award. Award winning media personality, Bonang Matheba has added another trophie to her already impressive collection. This time from the Standard Bank Top Women Awards organization.
With over 700 attendees and a combination of over 30 phenomenal women across Africa and organisations advocating for gender equality and women empowerment that have been honoured for their work at the Standard Bank Top Women Awards 2022, the fastest growing gender-empowered awards platform took place on 10 November 2022 at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg. Under the theme, ‘Rise Above the Noise’, the programme was aimed at uplifting and celebrating companies and women that continue to do great work in their respective fields.
Bonang wwalked away with the Media Personality award of the year for 2022. She was recognized in the individual Awards category which recognises the achievements of individuals for the past 18 months of individual female entrepreneurs, executives, employees, as well as men driving gender empowerment.
Taking to social media, Bonang Reacted to the win saying, “thank you [Standard Bank]. What a huge honour.”
