All in the short period of two weeks we were informed that both Mo Flava and Nonhle Thema will be leaving Club 808.
Nonhle confirmed the reports of her leaving the show in a short media release saying that she’s too old to be doing a music show and that she will focusing her talents and energies on other parts in the entertainment business.
“I am currently focusing on developing my acting career and honing my skills in other serious aspects of television production,” Nonhle said.
It’s been reported that Boitumelo Thulo also known as Boity will be replacing Nonhle Thema on 808. Boity is mostly known for acting on popular Mzansi Magic drama Rockville.
Boity was quoted saying that she doesn’t necessarily see herself as Nonhle’s replacement because they don’t have similar qualities and that they both bring different elements to the show.
Boity actually took to Twitter to express her excitement about getting the gig!
