South African actress, rapper, and TV personality Boity Thulo recently took to Instagram to remember her late grandmother in a touching tribute that moved many of her fans. Boity shared a series of throwback photos and a heartwarming video, marking one year since her grandmother’s passing.

Known for being open about her personal life, Boity has often spoken about the close bond she shared with her grandmother. Over the years, she posted several videos and pictures with her, always expressing admiration and deep love. Her latest post serves as a heartfelt reminder of that connection.

In the first image, Boity and her grandmother are seen sitting together on a couch, smiling warmly at the camera. Their closeness and joy are evident in the photo. Another picture captures a beautiful moment during a road trip, where they stopped to take some pictures on the side of the road—an intimate moment that many fans appreciated.

But it was the video that truly touched her followers.  In her caption, Boity poured out her feelings with raw emotion, writing: “A whole year without you.  I hope you’re the happiest you’ve ever been in Heaven, Lelo. You were always an angel on earth, now you get to fly high with your kind up where you belong.”

She ended her message with: “ Till we meet again, my Queen ”

Fans flooded the comments with support and love, sharing their own stories of grief and relating to the pain Boity expressed. Her post didn’t just honour her grandmother; it also created a space for others to remember and celebrate their loved ones.
