A number of South African celebrities have come out in their numbers to stand in solidarity with the youth and protest against university fees increase.

A proposed 10.5% increase was released about a week ago which the students of WITS did not agree with, the figures were later revised and dropped to 6% which is still not being accepted by students across the country.

Various people are sharing their varsity stories on social media with celebrities admitting that they too could not complete their degrees because of the constant increase of fees.

One of the celebrities that has shared her story is TV personality, Boity Thulo.

Even though Boity matriculated from one of the countries most prestigious schools, she shares that her mother could not afford varsity fees for her which resulted in the talented beaut dropping out of school.
