#BloodAndWater Debuts At No.1 In Ten Countries! The teen drama series has taken over having been the trending topic since it’s release on the streaming platform in South Africa and in the United States as well.

The series is the second South African original on Netflix, following the success of Pearl Thusi’s action packed drama series Queen Sono, which debuted earlier in the year.

The first season of Blood And Water hit Netflix on Wednesday and, sooner than expected the series was sitting at number one in the US even surpassing shows such as Sweet Magnolia and Ozark.

One of the cast members that caught the eye of fans internationally is Natasha Thahane who took to twitter to celebrate after receiving praises from Brazil to France.

“Number 1 in 10 countries Blood and Water,” she wrote. Congratulations to the team.
