“I Blamed Myself For My Dad’s Death,” Bontle Opens Up! The actress and TV presenter got candid about her father’s suicide in a recent interview on Metro FM where she revealed how for a long time she blamed herself for the unfortunate life changing incident.

“My dad unfortunately committed suicide and it was a daunting period particularly for mama,” she told the Fresh Breakfast hosts.

What made it more difficult for was she had dreamt it before it happened. Bontle says she told her parents about the dream but after her father’s death, it weighed heavily on her as she thought if she had not had the dream  it would not have happened.

“For a very long time I blamed myself for my dad’s death, I really did… I felt if I hadn’t dreamt about it…he wouldn’t have done it.”
