We all know that Black Coffee and Mbali Mlotshwa are expecting two little bambino’s to be born in 5 days! Everyone has been saying that finally Black Coffee will have someone that will take over from him and carry on with his DJ legacy.

Well news flash, Coffee doesn’t want any of his kids to pursue a career in the DJ industry. That’s right, Zalebs recently interviewed Black Coffee in Amsterdam and when asked if her would let any of his kids become DJ’s Coffee said;

“I’d say NO! Go be a nurse! No man, I don’t think I’d allow them because it’s such a cut-throat industry. It’s not just about talent, It’s about being at the right place at the right time.  It’s about being disciplined; it’s about being lucky just beyond talent. So I’ll want to see how much he wants it and I’ll support him.”

Ok, now we all know what Coffee’s young ones are NOT becoming. It’s really cool that Black Coffee takes his family with him on tours and to explore other countries with him, the best way to mix business and pleasure we must say. They went on to ask Coffee about how he balances being a DJ and being a father all at once and well the DJ is just as surprised as we are that he’s doing a superb job at doing both!

“I don’t know. It’s a learning curve, every day I’m trying. I’ve literally moved my family while I’m on tour. We lived in New York for a couple of months just to try and be closer. I don’t think it will ever be perfect even if I wasn’t a DJ – being a family man is a work in progress.”

We really can’t wait to meet the additions to the Coffee family!
