Rapper Big Zulu has been discharged from the hospital after being involved in a car accident on Sunday night. According to TshisaLIVE, the star, whose real name is Siyabonga Nene, was released on Tuesday afternoon after being admitted for treatment.

Inkabi Nation provided an update on Tuesday morning, reassuring fans that the rapper was making progress. “There were no life-threatening issues,” the statement read, easing the concerns of many who had been anxiously following the news. Big Zulu was officially discharged later that afternoon.

As news of the accident spread, the rapper’s fans and several South African celebrities flooded his social media with messages of support. One follower shared: “On January 14, 2025, it was reported that Nkabi Nation singer Xowla was involved in a car accident while driving his brand-new BMW 4-Series. Last night, Big Zulu was also involved in a car accident. Let’s keep Nkabi Records in our prayers and wish Big Zulu a speedy recovery.”

Fans continued to pour in their well wishes, expressing relief that the rapper was out of danger. The accident comes just days after another incident involving a member of the Nkabi Nation, showing how deeply concerned the public is for the health and safety of their favourite stars.
