The 2-hour premiere introduced viewers to a vibrant mix of new housemates from across South Africa, all vying for the coveted Big Brother title and the grand prize of R2 million. From an array of talents to unique personalities, it’s clear this season will be one to remember.

The night began with Smash Afrika bringing his usual charisma to the stage, hyping up the crowd and making sure the show was off to a scorching start. Known for his energy and wit, Smash Afrika delivered the perfect introduction to the high-stakes drama about to unfold in the house.

The premiere also featured stunning performances by Amapiano star Zee Nxumalo, famous for the hit Thula Mabota, and hitmaker Pabi Cooper, who lit up the stage with her electrifying energy.

One of the first housemates to be introduced was Abobo, a 30-year-old educator, actor, and football enthusiast from Khayelitsha, Cape Town. Confident and driven, Abobo believes in the power of determination: “I firmly believe that if you truly desire something, you can ultimately achieve it.”
