Arthur Mafokate Speaks On How He Feels About His Daughter’s DJ Career! Mafokate’s daughter Owami made her debut as a DJ recently on YoTV where she also got to meet female DJ powerhouse, DJ Zinhle.

Arthur who has been in the industry for a few decades recently opened up about how he feels about his 17 year old daughter being in the showbiz industry.

“I must admit I am really panicking, I have mixed feelings and this has caught us off guard and we pray Lord that you protect this child Owami, we her parents never envisaged what is happening at this stage of her life and we believe this is your child and only you know why,” he said.

Arthur went on to explain that despite his mixed feelings about his daughter’s ambitions to become a DJ, he would be supporting her every step of the way.

Becoming a DJ is a hugely rewarding career. Especially if you can make it a full-time profession.

Furthermore, there are so many fantastic opportunities out there for DJs. From playing festivals and private parties to music production, the possibilities are endless.
