Musician and TV presenter Anele Zondo, known by her stage name Ney The Bae, recently celebrated a special milestone — her daughter Princess Moä’s first birthday. The proud mother took to Instagram to mark the occasion with an emotional message and shared adorable photos from her daughter’s birthday photoshoot.
In her touching birthday message, Anele poured out her heart, reflecting on her journey into motherhood. She wrote: “My princess Moä turns 1 today. My heart is filled with gratitude. Sometimes I look at you and can’t believe ukuthi ngiwumawakho.”
She shared how discovering she was pregnant changed her life forever. “When I found out about you I was forced to grow up, to make tough decisions and to think differently. My whole world and what I thought I knew changed,” she continued.
The birthday message also revealed the deep emotional and spiritual impact her daughter has had on her life. “You reconnected me with my faith because I had thought I lost so much — oh but I was so wrong. I gained a love like never before.”
She thanked God for bringing Princess Moä into her life, saying, “Thank you my Lord and Saviour for blessing me with my daughter when I never knew I needed her.”
Anele ended her message with a confession of love, writing, “I cried for two hours at midnight while you slept in my arms because I finally have my forever love. #GodisGod”
Anele first revealed her pregnancy in May 2024 through an emotional Instagram post. At the time, she expressed her excitement about becoming a mother while also launching her music project, the VUKA EP.
She wrote, “To two things that I’m in love with — one the biggest and best blessing that takes human form, a legacy, a lifeline. I’m so grateful.”
In July 2024, she shared the news that she had welcomed her baby girl into the world and shared a tender photo of her tiny foot with the caption, “I can’t believe I can say, God bestowed upon me the blessing to birth a whole human. World, meet Princess Moä.”
