Anele Mdoda Dragged For Body Shaming Skinny People. Many celebs have been called out for insensitive and crude comments. Anele Mdoda is one of those celebs who have become social media targets, and it seems like she can’t catch a break. The 947 radio host had social media users gunning for her again following her tweet that left many unimpressed.
Anele Mdoda commented on a post that already shamed skinny women claiming that they are rude and referred to them as skeletons. The post also claimed that the chubbier the girl the more peaceful they are. Mdoda made things worse by joking about there being no security companies called Thin but there is one that is called Chubb.
“Can y’all respect us !!!! I don’t see a security company called THIN but there is one called CHUBB… so please” she wrote.
Trolls didn’t hold back on dragging Anele for shaming thin people, claiming that she is part of the crowd who think it’s okay to mock thin people but when the roles are reversed, they are quick to cry and accuse people of fat phobia’s. Other’s dragged Anele because she has been announced as the host of the Miss South Africa pageant, and this is rather disappointing for someone who is associated with such a prestigious platform.
Anele has been trending for all the wrong reasons lately following her previous tweet about Kelly Rowland. A few tweeps went the extra mile to troll her, claiming that Anele has a striking resemblance with Black-ish actor Anthony Anderson.
Local celebs like Pearl Thusi have spoken out on how unnecessary body shaming is no matter what the action was but most people in Mzansi can’t seem to let her just be. This may take an ugly turn considering that she was announced as the host of the upcoming Miss South Africa pageant.
Anele will be hosting the much anticipated night where the next Miss South Africa will be taking over from 2020 winner Shudufhadzo Musida. Mdoda will be sharing the hosting duties with survivor host and actor Nico Panagio.
